Bar/Restaurant Manager Wanted in Hamden, CT

Must be at least 25 years of age. Must have prior experience working at a food and beverage establishment, such as a hotel restaurant or club where alcohol is served, or managing a staff. Must Safe Serve Certified. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills; a neat physical appearance and the willingness to be a team player. Must be familiar with standard office equipment including personal computers and word processing, spreadsheet, and database software and be able to learn and implement specialty software systems and procedures.Must possess a valid Driver' License.Estimate food consumption, place orders with suppliers, and schedule delivery of fresh food and beverages.Resolve customer complaints about food quality or service.Direct cleaning of kitchen and dining areas to maintain sanitation standards, and keep appropriate records.Monitor actions of staff and customers to ensure that health and safety standards and liquor regulations are obeyed.Maintain budget and employee records, prepare payroll, and pay bills, or monitor bookkeeping records.
